24: Coloured 3D nail art

Hi Everybody!.. (Hi Dr. Nick!..)

Gosh I am such a loser haha. Did any of you get that Dr. Nick joke up there? Aaanyways :D I wanted to post a super post today but for some reason I'm having so much trouble uploading my pictures! Boo Blogger! So I guess I'll just post whatever I can for you. I used my colour acrylic powders today and gosh they were super fun! I made 4-5 things but honestly I'm not so good at coordinating with colours so I had to scrap some :p Today was also the first time I used my heart and star shaped punchers yay! I bought these a while ago and now I have finally used them. They're so convenient and easy to use. Now on with the photooos..

Here are the punchers I was talking about! The pink is a 1/4" heart. The yellow is 1/4" star. And the red is 1/8" heart. They make the end results so nice and pretty :D

All I did was apply the acrylic on tin foil and once it dried I removed the acrylic. Once you have the thin "sheet" of dried acrylic just slip it in the puncher and wahla! Pink heart!

This one is the 1/4" star. I know this is cheating but sometimes I want to just get it done quickly and it's sooooo hard to sculpt a star lol. I've failed millions of times.

This was my first try at coloured 3D nail art. I'm quite happy with the shape of this flower and I love how nice the leaves turned out :D

This was my sorry attempt at a butterfly lol. I tried to put eyes onto it's face but one of them fell off :(

I really wanted to use the red colour in the kit and I had just used white from the butterfly so I decided to make a candy cane. Yuuum. Since it's wintertime here in Sydney I thought it would be fun to make it a Christmas in July theme.

Can't forget the Christmas tree! I used my star puncher to make the Christmas tree star topper :)

Well I guess the Blogger problem is fixed now so until next time! I will see you all very soon!

xx

  5. Hi Kae Kae!

Thank you so much for such a nice compliment *blushes* I loveee butterflies. Although I do think the previous butterfly I made (the one with rhinestones) looked a bit better. This one was a bit sloppy cause I had a hard time controlling the consistancy. But thanks anyways xx
